Stare Case

Drawn in by its color and texture, a staircase in Old Town in Panama City, Panama was my inspiration for these works. The site was haunting and lovely; it was the entry point for the home of the family living on the floor above. Revisiting this space through painting, the final staircase works are site specific and meant to be displayed on a staircase within a staircase.
